Robyn Rihanna - also known as Rihanna - is an Barbadian pop songwriter and singer. She's had hit songs like Pon de Replay, SOS umbrella, Take a Bow. A very successful artist still in her prime youth she has already sold more than 140 million records and 41 million tracks worldwide becoming one of the most successful artists ever. Born in Barbados, she grew up the joy of reggae, and even began singing as a child. Unhappy with their chaotic home life as well as endless arguments with her parents, she immersed herself in music, and soon realized she wished to become an accomplished singer. While still in highschool, she formed a music group, and was asked to perform with Evan Rodgers. The producer was very impressed with the talents of this young lady. The producer asked her to make the move from her home in New York in order to make a career of it in the field of singing, which she readily accepted. Her debut album quickly was a huge success and she was called the next big thing in music. People of all ages loved her upbeat songs, which led Rihanna to create films. She is a young, skilled woman that has grown into a style icon and a teenager icon. Rihanna also puts her fame to good use and is actively involved with several charities.
