Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is an American singer and actress. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier - a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American singer and actress. Kristen was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan, to the family of a Polish mother and father who has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen's passion for acting was found at a young age. In 1992, she went to her first audition. She was successful and got a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent when she was thirteen, and she was subsequently cast for television and newspaper commercials. In the same year Bell also started classes in acting. Bell played a brief, uncredited role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the musical and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the starring Dorothy role. After graduation Bell made the move to New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she was a musical theater student. Bell quit college in 2001 when she took the role of Becky for Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 that Bell made her first appearance in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part is cut off and the credits are all that display her. Bell made an appearance with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
