Teri Hatcher

Teri HatcherTeri Lynn Hatcher was the daughter of Teri Hatcher, who was born in Palo Alto California on December 8 1964. Her mother, Esther, was a computer programmer for Lockheed Martin, and her father, Owen, was an electrical engineer as well as a nuclear physicist. Teri studied ballet at San Juan School of Dance and was born in Sunnyvale. Fremont High School was her home. She was captain of the Featherettes dancing team and was named "Most likely" to become an Solid Gold Dancer. After graduation, Hatcher was a math and engineering student at De Anza College and took acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri revealed that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone had sexually harassed her at the age of five. She also helped Santa Clara County prosecutors in their investigation into Stone following the 14-year-old victim of Stone's took her own life. Stone was sentenced to prison for pleading guilty to four counts of molestation, and he passed away from colon cancer while in prison.
